Harrahs casino restaurants new orleans

I will start by admitting that we are not regular visitors to casinos there is an Indian casino in Marksville, LA, near our home and we visit 2-3 times a year for a little gambling and a nice dinner. Just thought this might be helpful if you plan to eat in the casino. I decided to stay with the group in the lobby (which didn't change our time limit) During this time, we were watched closely by both the guard and cameras. We were then told by the same guard that we could only allow about 10 minutes for leaving the under 21 group in the lobby. (It was a hot day in July-about 95 degrees with probable equal humidity). We then decided to leave our 18 year old in the air conditioned entrance with a 9 yr old and an 11 year old while those who were older than 21 looked about the casino for a bit. We informed him we only wanted to eat and were told that you have to be 21 to eat in the restaurants because 'it is all part of the casino'. We were met at the door by a very 'matter of fact' guard who promptly asked for ID's on all in our group of 11.

If the review mentioned an age limit on the restaurants, I must have missed it. We had read several reviews on the food and were very eager to try it out. During a family vacation, we decided to try the buffet at Harrah's casino.
